Our Story

After working together for ten years, establishing and growing multiple manufacturing and distribution healthcare companies, our founders had an idea for a new company. Lifeplus.

1992: Where it all began

We were founded in 1992 in Batesville, Arkansas, USA by Bob Lemon and Bill Evans. Their mission was simple, to help millions of people around the world live happier and healthier lives.

Our head office still resides in Batesville to this day.

2000: EXPANDING TO THE UK

With a growing European customer base, our founders decided to expand the Lifeplus Team and open our first UK Office in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire! There was only one name we could choose for our European base – “Lifeplus House”.

Lifeplus house was the original base for the whole Lifeplus Europe Team from Customer Care all the way through to our logistics team.

2013: How our Team Grew

In 2013 we saw a huge growth in customers and sales. We doubled the size of the team and also opened a new logistics warehouse in Bedford to meet the demand.

In the next few years, we would also expand Lifeplus house with another 2 buildings and open our 3rd UK Base down the road from Lifeplus House in St. Neots.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2019: ADAPTING TO CHANGE

In 2019, due to Brexit we opened our 2nd European warehouse in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands. Since then we have faced another large challenge, the Covid-19 pandemic, which again meant we had to rethink the way we worked. Overnight colleagues were kitted out with equipment that meant they could work from home and precautions were put in place to keep colleagues safe.

We continue to embrace the change in working environment, and are proud to say that we offer hybrid working combining home and office working.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2022: Looking forward
