Lifeplus – Staying Safe During The Coronavirus Outbreak
Coronavirus Risk Assessments:
We have carried out risk assessments at all three UK sites as well as the distribution centre in the Netherlands, covering how Lifeplus can remain operational and how we can continue to support our customers.
Implementation of Working from Home:
We have invested in new equipment and in relationships with new service providers to enable the vast majority of our colleagues to work from home, including all of our Contact Centre.
Safeguarding Distribution Centres:
We have increased the number of handwashing and hygiene facilities across both distribution centres, as well as putting measures in place to safeguard our colleagues, including taking steps to allow colleagues to work two metres apart where possible and by the provision of personal protection equipment to all warehouse staff.
Guidance:
We have brought together colleagues from across Senior Management, as well as from HR and Legal, to ensure up to date guidance is provided as and when necessary to all colleagues. This includes changes to business operations and useful information on how to stay safe and healthy in everyday life. Where appropriate, we have also shared this information with our customers.
Looking to the Future:
We have recently advised colleagues that all working from home measures will remain in place and will be reviewed on a regular basis. We will continue to monitor the situation both at home and abroad to ensure that colleague and customer safety remains a priority. This will allow us to take any necessary action in good time.
